Course Description & Details

At the end of the course, the student should be able to

Understand the structure and function of the skin, including its role in protecting the body from external threats.
Diagnose and manage common dermatological conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin infections.
Comprehend the principles of dermatological treatments, including topical medications, phototherapy, and dermatologic surgery.
Identify and manage dermatological emergencies, such as severe allergic reactions, burns, and infections
Promote skin health, emphasizing sun protection, early detection of skin cancers, and maintaining skin hygiene.
